Steps to acquire RPA plugins for on-premise customer Summary Prerequisite:

RPA Hub and RPA Plugin Bundle plugins should be installed on the instance.

To do this:

Go to All > System Definition > Plugins. In Plugins search field, search with with the term *rpa.

Procedure

Launch the RPA Desktop Design Studio in the internet premises. Provide a name in the Name field. Enter the instance URL https:// .service-now.com in the Connection Manager window and then click Proceed .

ServiceNowRPA folder is created in the path C:\Users\ \AppData\Local .

In the ServiceNowRPA folder, the .repository folder is created with the default plugin zip files.

Note : If the ServiceNowRPA folder is already exists, ensure to delete all the files in the .repository folder before you select Proceed.

Select Unattended Automation and the New Unattended Project dialog box is displayed.

Enter a name and select OK .

A new Unattended automation project is created.

On the Menu bar, select View > Plugin Manager .

The Plugin Manager window is displayed.

Select a plugin (for example, Internet Explorer) from Available Plugins.

Install all the available versions (for example, 5.0,4.1,4.0,3.0,1.0) for the plugin.

Repeat the steps for all the Available Plugins.

For each installed version, a dll zip file is created in the .repository folder.

Add all the dll files to self-hosted network cdn folder when the on-premise customer has all the files. Update the self-hosted network cdn folder URL in the Value field of the RPA Hub system property sn_rpa_fdn.plugin.rpa_plugin_repository_url.
