A user with "snc_external" could not see a Record Producer in the Workspace correctlyUser "Steve Rogers" was attempting to access a certain Workspace. Steve had all the correct roles to access the Workspace. When Steve tried to access Record Producer "Avengers: Property Destruction Complaint", none of the variables would display that would allow Steve to submit the Record Producer from the Workspace. Steve could see all of the variables from the Platform UI, but not in the Workspace. Steve wanted to know why. It was found that Steve also had the "snc_external" role in his sys_user record. ServiceNow Development concluded that this was the root cause of the issue, as Workspaces are not supported for unauthenticated or external access. This is not a defect in the ServiceNow Platform, but rather a feature request. As this is not a defect, there is no workaround apart from removing the "snc_external" role from the affected user (in this case, Steve Rogers). Once the "snc_external" role is removed from the affected user's sys_user record, the issue will cease and the user will be able to access all of the needed variables to submit the desired Record Producer.
