Business rules not executing for Projects created from Microsoft Project Import - Known Error

Business rules not executing for Projects created from Microsoft Project Import Description In PPM no business rules are being executed on project task table, or any tables are related to project, when importing with "Microsoft Project Import" project tasks in any existing project, or creating a new project using the import option available.

Steps to Reproduce

1- Enable debug Business Rule (Detailed). 2- Navigate to Project --> Projects-->Import. 3- Import an MPP file. Observe that there is no log created in the system for business rules. No before insert business rule is executed. 4- Navigate to Projects > Project > Create New. 5- Create and Save the new project. Observe that several before insert business rules are executed.

Workaround This is working as designed. Business Rules will not be trigger while importing or re-importing a Microsoft Project.
