'Requested by' itil user does not receive a notification when a work note was added to an sc_ task from a REQ the user submittedIssue An itil user opened a RITM and then another itil user added a work note to the first SCTASK of that REQ. No email was generated from any existing notification to the Requested by user when the ask work note. Can the Requested by be added to the SC_Task, RITM, or REQ?Or should the Opened by user added to the "who will receive" list?Or is it better to add a step to the flow for the catalog item to add the Requested by user to the worknotes list?CauseBy design, no out-of-box notification is sent to the requestor user when the sc_task record associated with the RITM is worknoted.ResolutionA custom notification can be created following the steps below to address this requirement:1. On the filter navigator, type in notifications and select the notification module under Emails application. 2. Create a new record using the New UI action (wait till the page appears).3. Select the target table as "sc_task". You can keep the category as "IT Service Management" if you would like to keep that under that category. 4. Give the notification a name as you see fit. 5. On the "Send when" field, select "Record inserted or updated", and for the checkbox select Updated (as you'd like the notification to be sent whenever there's a worknote updated).6. Under the conditions section - Select "Assigned to" is not empty and Work notes changes. 7. Go to the "Who will receive" tab and do the following:- Under the "Users/Groups in field", select "Request" and then click on the + Icon to dot walk into the "Requested for" field and click on ">". This will select the "Request.Requested for" dot walking. - Add other users whom you'd like to notify as well and then save/update the notification record.Related LinksOn Insert/Update Notification not triggered by condition when synching comments from SC_TASK to RITM
