Attachment variables require a per-row display that is not supported in this format. Each row of an MRVS would need its own attachment display, creating mapping, accessibility, and layout problems. Containers are excluded because the MRVS is itself a container — nesting containers within it is not supported. HTML-based variable types are also incompatible with the row format. There is no supported configuration to enable attachments within an MRVS row. When an attachment is submitted on a standard variable set, it is recorded in the sys_attachment table. In an MRVS, the platform cannot map an attachment to the correct row by default, so the type is excluded. Suggestion: Modify the business rule condition instead of deactivating it. If a customisation has been developed to handle attachments in an MRVS, do not deactivate the business rule Restrict types for table variable set. Deactivating it may cause issues with other unsupported variable types in the MRVS. Instead, remove the Attachment type from the conditions within the business rule to allow the customisation to function while keeping the remaining restrictions active.
