Unable to edit the unified navigation menu core record for "workspaces"Issue When navigating to the sys_polaris_menu_config record, admin users are unable to edit it. ReleaseAllCauseThis is an expected behavior and working as per design. Admin users are not allowed to modify (or) make the Menu Item inactive. Admin modification of those records where the Type is "system" or "internal" is not currently supported. Those menu items are for ServiceNow use only as they are intended functionality for OOB Workspaces. Admins can modify records where the Type is "external" (i.e., menu items they create themselves). The "Avoid duplicate menu configuration" Business Rule is preventing updates of "system" menu items even if ACLs are created to allow admin changes. While a customer could potentially disable or modify this Business Rule, doing so is strictly not recommended or supported.ResolutionThis is working as expected. In order to modify the record you could de-activate the OOB Business rule: "Avoid duplicate menu configuration". The reason is that there is a discussion that in the future, AppBUs might not put their Workspace into the "All" menu, and only have it in the Workspace Menu. If this is the case then users will not be able to get to their Workspace if the menu is deactivated. We do not recommend deactivating the menu.
