Microsoft's Azure AD User Provisioning Temporarily Switched to OAuth Authentcation in March 2023SummaryExplanation ServiceNow has seen customer cases referring to the Azure AD Provisioning feature in the Azure AD 'ServiceNow' Enterprise application. It appears that during mid-March 2023 Microsoft changed the Provisioning setup to use OAuth authentication, instead of basic authentication. As of 17 March Microsoft appear to have switched it back to basic authentication. The relevant documentation from the Microsoft side is:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/servicenow-provisioning-tutorial Example of Configuration Screen with OAuth Example of Configuration Screen with Basic Authentication Note that the Instance Name is not the URL or FQDN, so if your instance is https://examplecorp.service-now.com you would enter 'examplecorp' (no quotes) in that field Related LinksThe Azure AD 'ServiceNow' Enterprise Application is not a ServiceNow product, it was developed by and is supported by Microsoft.
