Introducing Now Support User Management Introducing Now Support User Management In late March ServiceNow is launching a new experience for customer and partner administrators to manage their users in Now Support. This new user management tool will unify the user creation experience across Now Learning, Support and Impact, and make it easier and faster to create and manage users. Now Support Admins can access the new tool to manage and view the latest for their accounts and users. What's changing? Manage accounts is moving Beginning on March 24, users will navigate to "Manage user and accounts" in the drop-down profile menu. This existing "Manage Accounts" tab will no longer be available. From here, Now Support admins can manage users and their access roles across Now Support, Impact, and Now Learning, from one place. They can also create and assign roles for these sites. Communications watchlist is moving Communications and notifications lists for maintaining and updating company contacts will be available on the 'My Support' page. The 'Create a new user' service catalog item will retire Since creating and managing users will all take place in the new tool, the service catalog item used to create new users will be retired. When is this change happening? March 24, 2023 Who does this change affect? All customer and partner administrators on Now Support commercial will begin to see the new user management experience in late March. There will be no change to user management for Now Support customers in Regulated Market environments. What are the benefits to unified user management? User data will be in one place User data and access roles will be aligned across Now Support, Impact, and Now Learning in one place. Customer admins can click into each user profile for an enhanced view. Creating a new user will be easier The user creation form will be simpler through a unified flow.New users will sync across Now Learning, Now Support, and Impact within minutes. Instant verification will let you know if a user exists across Now Learning, Now Support, and Impact when you enter an email address. Clearer options for removing user access To remove access of a user, admins can either remove all access roles for a user or use the 'lock user' function.The 'deactivate user' option will no longer be available.
