Cannot change the User Criteria on an audience after creating it Description On existing Audiences you are unable to update the Users condition or User Criteria or HR Criteria selection.

Steps to Reproduce

Install the Content Publishing application Navigate to Content Publishing -> Re-usable Components -> Audiences Create an audience of type Users and the condition is Active is true Go back to the audience you just created and change the condition to something else Hit save Note the condition was not updated/changed after saving

Workaround Update the Audience Type and Audience Query from the Audiences list view Navigate to Content Publishing -> Audiences Add the Audience Query field to the list view Inline update the Audience Type in the list view Inline update the Audience Query

For Audience Type "Users", Audience Query should be an encoded query for the Users table For Audience Type "User Criteria", Audience Query should be a sys_id of the User Criteria record For Audience Type "HR Criteria," Audience Query should be a comma delimited list of sys_ids of the HR Criterias For Audience Type "HR Profiles", Audience Query should be an encoded query for the HR Profiles table

This issue is resolved in March 2023 Patch Release in the Store and in Tokyo Patch 7 and Utah Family versions OOB In some cases you may find the issue happening in Tokyo Patch 7, if the Content Publishing version has been upgraded via Store to a version greater than 25 and lower than 28.0.4 (March 2023). In those cases the recommendation is to upgrade to the latest Content Publishing version.

It is also recommended to clear the browser cache after upgrading because the change is in a file that the browser caches, so you might not see the change immediately if the cache isn't cleared.
