'Duration' type variable is displayed inconsistently when it's value is less than a day on Portal - Known Error

'Duration' type variable is displayed inconsistently when it's value is less than a day on Portal Description When the difference between start date and end date is less than a day, the value displayed in the 'Duration' type variable is inconsistent in service portal.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to any OOTB Tokyo/Sandiego instance. 2. Create a new or open an existing catalog item. 3. Create two date/time type variables. eg: Start Date and End Date. 4. Create another variable of type 'Duration'. 5. Configure a client script to calculate and populate the duration variable with difference between start date and end date. 6. Open the above catalog item form in portal. 7. Set the start date and End date as same day with a time difference.

Expected behavior: The duration field should have 'Zero' value set in Days cell and Time cells with actual difference.

Actual behavior: The time difference calculated is updated in Days cell leaving the Hours/Minutes/seconds cells undefined.
