Create a Catalog Item. 2. Set Catalogs to Service Catalog, Technical Catalog. 3. Add the following categories. Can We Help You?(Service Catalog) Accessories(Technical Catalog) 4. Search the Catalog Item on Service Portal. The Catalog Item shows up in the search result. 5. Remove the "Can We Help You?(Service Catalog)" Category from the Catalog Item. 6. Search the Catalog Item on Service Portal again. The Catalog Item doesn't show up in the search result. Root cause: The search widget will check the first accessible category of the Service Portal Catalog on the Catalog Item via API "getFirstAccessibleCategoryForSearch". If Catalog Item is not associated with any Categories under Portal Catalog, it won't show up in the Portal search result. This is expected behavior and it came up as part of fix for PRB1572981.
