Why some fields aren't of type Translated Text OOTB when the system is offered to work in multiple languages Issue Delegation Rules are not translated until the field type of Name and Short Description is manually changed from 'string' to 'translated text'.ReleaseAnyCauseThe system is offered to work in multiple languages if configured to do so. It doesn't mean that every string field in every table is going to be delivered with Translated Text type. Translated Text fields do extra checks to retrieve the translated text value which would have unnecessary performance implications if we converted every field to this type.Customers have the option to change the field type and provide its translated text values. Hence, this is not a defect and the system is working as designed.Resolution It is recommended to make use of either Translated Text or Translated HTML field types to display different content based on the language of the user.Change the type of the field to 'Translated Text' and insert the Translations in 'sys_translated_text' table to resolve the issue.
