Appointments showing in Walkup queue in Walk-up portalSummaryThere is a widget that displays the walkup_online_checkin page's queue status. Despite the fact that this area is intended for walk-up customers only and not for making appointments, the queue section under NOW SERVING is showing appointments.InstructionsOnly "Interaction" records are created when someone joins a queue, and these records are displayed in the portal's "Next Up" section. However, when someone shows up for a booked appointment, an interaction record is created that maps the walk-in record to the appointment. According to out-of-the-box behavior, if a future appointment gets pre-allocated to a technician but is still scheduled for that date, the state changes to "Work in Progress" and the appointment appears in the queue's "Now Serving" area. Once more, this conduct is anticipated. To allow technicians flexibility, we continue to offer and accept walk-in appointments. Currently, the system is designed to allow technicians to begin work early or at their scheduled times, but once an appointment is assigned, OOB behavior causes the state of the appointment to change to "work in progress" and causes it to appear on the Now Serving queue.Out of the box Managers and technicians can manage the appointmentsReference: View and manage Walk-up Experience appointments from application navigator The business rule 'Set newly assigned appointment to WIP' sets the state of the appointment to WIP If a 'new', 'pending_accept', or 'queued' record becomes assigned to a userThe business rule 'Set newly assigned interaction to WIP' sets the state of the interaction to WIP If a 'new', 'pending_accept', or 'queued' record becomes assigned to a userThe queue shows the interactions that are assigned and set to WIP
