Setting the Outage Duration field clears the Begin and End datesIssue An Outage record is created from a task record such as Incident, Problem, or Change Request, to track the downtime of a configuration item. If the Duration field value is changed when creating the Outage record, the Begin and End date fields are emptied out: 1. Create a new Incident.2. On the Incident header, click on Create Outage. A new Outage record opens up with Begin, End, and Duration fields initially empty and set as mandatory.3. Fill in the Begin and End dates.4. Try filling the Duration based on the Begin and End dates. After updating, the Begin and End dates are set to blank again.CauseThis may bee due to a Client Script on the [cmdb_ci_outage] table where the begin and end field values are cleared if the Duration field changes.Related LinksOutages not calculated correctly
