RHEL Server was not recognized by Software EntitlementsIssue RHEL Server was not recognized by Software Entitlements- We created Software Entitlements and executed Reconciliation. 3 servers were listed on Software Entitlement/Installs; however, one was not recognized. Software model at that time was as follows: Red Hat -> Red Hat Enterprise Linux -> Server Unix 3 servers (acquired with RHEL 6.X Discovery)Red Hat -> Red Hat Enterprise Linux -> Unix 1 server (acquired with RHEL 7.X ACC) ResolutionThe correct metric to use to license the red hat server is "Per-Socket-Pair' The Linux server is not getting processed by recon as the discovery data is missing. The device SJ019881 is a virtual device, but the relationship to the host (physical) device is missing and as a result, it is not getting processed and remaining unlicensed even when we have enough rights. The Linux Server: ie: SJ019881 is virtual. However, the relationship of The CI Linux Server: SJ019881 is missing "Virtualized By::Virtualizes" relation type in cmdb_rel_ci table on which this SJ019881(VM) is running. You need to run normal discovery (not via ACC) to the target host that virtualize the linux server to have the relationship (Virtualized by::Virtualizes) create so the Software asset reconciliation can process.
