In this case the number is empty because we are auto populating the number value after insert. This is controlled by the system property glide.itil.assign.number.on.insert.ResolutionSetting the system property glide.itil.assign.number.on.insert ( /nav_to.do?uri=sys_properties.do?sys_id=ff129a57c61122b70102a01f535e71f1 ) to false will assign the required number to newly created cases, which will display in the info message.
