GRC-Controls are not updating ownership as expectedDescriptionIn previous versions of GRC creation of entities through entity type filter was permitted even if there was no source field owner assigned to the record. Now help is needed with updating the records that were created with no 'Owner' value in the field.CausePrevious functionality permitted entities to be generated with no value in the 'Owner' field, but with recent changes to the GRC application the same is no longer allowed. Updating the 'Owned by' field of the entity type filter is never going to perform a backwards looking update. That's to say, records previously created by the entity type will never be updated by new owner auto-assignments in the filter conditions regardless of value in owner field - the 'Owned by' will only be applied to new records created from the entity type.ResolutionBased on the general understanding from our product team, our customers want a more granular control over this field based on the entity's location or otherwise. So we kindly suggest updating the owner field of the entity records through the list view, which permits up to 100 updates at a time. Updating the owner field at the entity level will cascade the owner assignment to the controls/risks assigned to the entity. The steps below can be applied: 1. Navigate to sn_grc_profile > Set the filter conditions to active is true, owner is empty2. Double click into the cell of the impacted entity and the update can be performed (cntrl + click to select multiple records)
