Progress workers with name "VPE Script Execution" and completion code "Error" - Known Error

Progress workers with name "VPE Script Execution" and completion code "Error" Description VPE is an internal tool that assists in the execution of automations. Due to a change in the San Diego release, in some cases where a script does not run, the progress worker for VPE script executions is marked with an error. When the script is not run in these cases, it is typically due to the intentional design of the automation, such as scripts that should not be run if a given scope does not exist on the instance.

The existence progress worker records with name "VPE Script Execution" and completion code "Error" do not indicate issues with the instance, nor with automations.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to System Diagnostics > Progress Workers 2. Search for progress workers with the name "VPE Script Execution"

Some of the progress workers in this list may have a Completion code field of value "Error." Customers cannot cause the progress workers to fail or error; this is done by the execution of automations.
