Catalog Item remains in Draft state when Submitting through Catalog BuilderIssue Catalog Item remains in Draft state when Submitting through Catalog BuilderCauseAn existing published item has been checked out for editing in the catalog builder. You can only edit a draft item but not a published item that has been checked out. When the item is being edited, catalog builder checks out the item and creates a copy of the item and its associated records(variables, UI policies, client scripts). The item copy is in the Draft state. The published item remains in the Published state and the Checked out field is set to True. Resolution1. Navigate to Maintain Items > "Catalog Item" 2. Click **Cancel checkout** on the catalog item which is state = published and checked out = true. 2. Now edit the catalog item in catalog builder. 3. Review and submit. Once the editing is done and the item is submitted, the edits to the draft item are merged with the associated published item and the draft item is deleted.Related LinksFor more information, refer: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-servicenow-platform/page/product/service-catalog-management/concept/catalog-builder.html
