Update Instance ID for Clone of instanceIssue Customers may clone on-prem instances and then be unable to register the new cloned instance because it has the same instance id as the instance it was cloned from.ResolutionSince cloning the instance ID's are the same the customer will need to go to the system properties of the new instance and adjust the sys_id. The customer will then be able to register their instance without running into errors within the Support Portal. - Navigate to sys_properties.list - Search for 'instance_id' and open that record - select the hamburger icon in the top left corner and go to History > List - Search for 'Value' label to see what the old value was. Copy that old value - Go back to the instance_id property and replace the value with the old copied value
