False "Unauthorized change request" on non relevant changes Overview Unauthorized change request feature may alert on change in any CI attribute of an application service and create a change request (via first creating an event in sysevnet tab;e) on many case attributes should not even be tracked and should not be part of the application service timeline / history tracking. this KB discuss how to mark such ci attribute to be ignored from history tracking and from the unauthorized change request Service history tracking any CI and attribute been tracked by the application service history / timeline may create an unauthorized change request upon change of attribute value. some attribute (in particular user defiined fields which starts with u_) should not be tracked and their change of value should not be consider for the unauthorized change request feature example of such field is machine "uptime" which always changes on each sample to add such ci class and attribute to the ignore list - svc_baseline_exclusion table can be used and in there we can specify ci and attributesfrom which we should not track history changes and as such the unauthorized change request feature will not be relevant
