Allocation Workbench > Operational Resource Plan option is not available when the board is created for Demand / Project / Program / Portfolio typesDescriptionThe below community post mentions the Operational Resource Plan option is not available when the board is created for the Demand / Project or Program or Portfolio types: https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=ef4990dedba889d02454e6be1396196dCauseThis is expected behavior and by design, as confirmed by SN Product Management: "Second point to note is that Operational RPLN option is NOT available when the board is created for the Demand / Project or Program or Portfolio types" The reason being, having Operational Plans option for Allocation workbench cards of Type = Demand/Projects, Portfolios would imply that Operational plans have Task on them, but Operational plans are resource plans that do not have Task associated:https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-it-business-management/page/product/resource-management/task/create-operational-plan.html When Allocation workbench cards are of Demand/Project types, we would pull up the Resource plan information associated to these tasks. So there would be by default no operational plans associated to them, hence we do not see that option in the configuration.ResolutionFor other types such as Type = Resource Plan or Group, the Operational Resource plan option is available. For example, Groups may have both regular resource plan and operational resource plan, so the Operational Plans option on Resource Allocation Workbench is available when Type = Resource Plan, Group and so on. Creating workbench cards for type = Resource Plan or Group manager or groups, and not Demand/Projects , Portfolios, Programs, then the Operational plans associated with Groups will be pulled on to the workbench.
