Translated KB articles always show Parent version 1.0 regardless of version used for translation Description KB article translation parent is always at version 1.0 regardless of further versions created for translation.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a KB article 2. Submit and publish 3. Make a change and then publish again 4. Verify you now see the article as Version 2 5. Select 'Translate' related link at the bottom 6. Select Brazilian/Portuguese language 7. Select 'Create draft'

You will now see the translated draft article, which is showing the 'Parent' field as version 1, even though we used version 2 to create.

Workaround This is working as designed in the createTranslation function of KBVersioningSNC. Translated articles are created using the article ID from the source article to populate the parent. This design was done to achieve consistency, so that all language article translation tasks are created from the same parent version.

As a workaround, manually set the Parent value of the translated article to the latest version of the source English article.
