AI search is unable to search records by users other than admins in child table - Support and Troubleshooting

AI search is unable to search records by users other than admins in child table Issue Search as non admin user with user criteria for Child Table indexed in separate Indexed Source doesn't work

Resolution Solution Proposed: To fix the issue apply the following workaround:

1. Delete indexed source with with child table 2. Add child table in 'child table' tab under Indexed Source for parent table 3. Update Search source to point to parent table indexed source and add filter with sys class name as child table

If child table is in different scope :

1. Navigating to required Indexed Source , Clicking on "New" to add child Tables 2. Changing Scope to scope of application which has child tables 3. Should be able to add specified child tables 4. Once you add child table we should reindex indexed source
