Contextual search in multilanguage instances shows no KB results in a different language from the logged-in user languageIssue No search results on Contextual Search when viewing of search results for the another selected user whose language is different from Logged in user CauseThe user for which the results are seen has preferred language set to Italian, but the logged-in user has language set to English. By default, users can only access KB articles in the same language as their set language. An English user may want to search for a non-English article known to be stored in the instance database (i.e. written and saved in German), however in this case the system will not make that article visible, not even to an administrator, as the language value in the Knowledge table record does not match with the user language.ResolutionIt is possible to search and find articles in other languages loaded in the instance in only two scenarios:1) Changing the user preferred language in the user settings before searching.2) Updating the system property "glide.knowman.enable_multi_language_search" to true.
