"Access denied" error on planning console when adding Child tasks - Support and Troubleshooting

"Access denied" error on planning console when adding Child tasks Issue Access denied error on Planning console when 'Add child tasks' is used to add tasks. Reloading the page will show up the added Child tasks though

Steps to reproduce:

Log in DEV Go to the project Go to the planning console Add Child task and put 4 on the field for example There is an error message "Access denied" Reload the planning console and the 4 tasks are created

Cause The issue was that pm_project table was added to Planned task Recalculation Exclusions table.

Resolution To resolve the issue, remove " pm_project " from recalculation exclusions table [planned_task_recalculation_exclusions] Its not recommended to add project or project task tables in Planned task Recalculation Exclusions
