Catalog Item Variable value not getting saved when its Read Only and set the value via script. Description Catalog Item Variable value not getting saved when its Read Only and set the value via script.

Steps to Reproduce

Hop to any instance Navigate to catalog item Create 2 variables of 1. Multi choice ( read only ) 2. Single line text Create a catalog client script which sets the value of the multichoice variable depending on the 2nd variable. Try the item Open the RITM and scroll down to variable editor Change the value of 2nd variable and it should change the value of Multi choice and Save the form The value of the multi choice is not getting saved since it's read only.

Workaround This problem is currently under review and has no workaround.
