Steps to Reproduce

Run discovery to trigger AIX Server pattern, which creates cmdb_ci_ibm_frame records

Workaround If you are able to upgrade, review the "Intended Fix Version" section below to determine the versions that have a permanent fix.

If upgrade is not possible, you can use below workaround.

(Please note: once an out of box script is changed, it will be skipped during platform upgrade.

Then you can either manually revert it to OOB after platform upgrade, or search for "Overwrite customizations during an upgrade" on https://docs.servicenow.com/ and follow the steps to make it automatically overwritten during upgrade. )

The workaround is to open AIX Server Pattern > Open LPAR discovery > step 1.9 Set cmdb_ci_ibm_frame, add a new target field, target field name: name target field value: $frame_info[1].frame_serial

Save the pattern.

The workaround will populate serial number in the name field for cmdb_ci_ibm_frame.
