Solarwinds critical eventType 5000 and 5001 have eventType.icon RedYield only mapped on warning level Description For SolarWinds, the severity of Alert is set via Event Field Mapping, based on icon, which is further based on the eventType from raw event from SolarWinds. Critical events 5000 and 5001 events have the "icon" attribute (from eventType) as "RedYield", which is mapped to severity level "Warning".

Steps to Reproduce

1- Configure alert rule in Solarwinds with Critical severity

2- Configure connector instance to Solarwinds

The events received with icon RedYield create alerts with just warning severity.

Workaround This problem has been fixed. There is no workaround available. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
