Monitor plugin activation status Instructions

When an admin activate a plugin, there will be plugin records created on the following tables.

There should be valid records on these tables which will help you to confirm the plugin activation is completed.

Below URL’s are generated for the Sample plugin.

Id: com.snc.adaptive_authentication

Adaptive Authentication

Replace “com.snc.adaptive_authentication” to your “pluginid” to search on your instance.

Screenshots of these URL’s are also attached.

Plugins will be listed on v_plugin table which is a dynamic table. This record gives you the plugin details for activation and display the activation status.

sys_plugins

Will provide installed date, and activation status ( Created/Updated/Installed date will not give you Plugin completion information)

sys_plugin_log

Log files for the corresponding plugin installation.

sys_upgrade_history

Installation and Start and Installation End. The generation of this record is dependent on the progress worker thread which is discussed next.

sys_progress_worker

This monitors the actual plugin installation timestamp. This will display, if it is Running/Success/Error ( Updated by timestamp will be the completion of all backend activities).

**If you have upgrade finished entry on sys_upgrade_history and the sys_progress_worker entry saying “Success”; the plugin installation was successful.
