It has all the details about the product like manufacturer, name, model number, cost and other relevant attributes. In order to make a model available for purchase from Service Catalog page, we need to expose it as a product catalog item. Vendor catalog items are needed for performing Sourcing action in a purchase order. Vendor catalog items represent the availability/cost of a particular item against multiple vendors(same item can be sourced from different vendors who sell it).1. User should first create a model. Then on the model form, there is a related link action "Publish to hardware catalog". Click on it and publish it to catalog.2. Once product catalog item is created, next we can create the vendor catalog items. On the model form, there is a related list "Vendor catalog items". Use the new button on the related list and create required entries.3. Does every Product Catalog item must has a Product Model => Yes4. Can we have a workflow to run on purchase order/purchase order line item => If looking to trigger any workflow while procuring a product, then configure it on the product catalog item form. Steps to achieve this are:4.1: Navigate to "Maintain Items"4.2: Search for the interested catalog item and open the record4.3: Configure the form to add "Workflow" and "Flow" fields to the UI4.4: If looking to trigger a workflow, select a workflow. If looking to trigger. a flow designer flow, then select the flow.4.5: Save the record.Documentation on this : https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/administer/flow-designer/task/create-sc-flow.html
