The 'Start on specific date' parent task does not convert to 'Start ASAP' when a child project task is inserted with the time constraint 'Start ASAP' Description Start on specific date parent task does not convert to Start ASAP when a child project task is added with Time Constraint: Start ASAP. The parent task remains on 'Start on specific date'. This behaviour varies on form vs Planning Console.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Project and Project Task 2. On the form, set the Project Task Time Constraint to 'Start on specific date' 3. Create a child Project Task under parent 4. Set child' Time Constraint to 'Start ASAP' 5. Save

Workaround This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.

As a workaround, use the client-side planning console.
