Create a subflow with reference type input, e.g. requested item. Save and Publish.2. Create a main flow with catalog trigger, also add a Look Up Record action, Look Up requested item record. Use any or no condition, return the first found record.Add another Update Record action, update the requested item record form the Look Up Record action.3. Use the subflow in the main flow, pull the Update Record action data pill [Requested Item Record] to the subflow input.4. Save the main flow and and copy the main flow, so you can test multiple times.5. In the copied the main flow, remove the Update Record action. It may give you warning that the reference will be removed. But after deletion, check the subflow input in the main flow, the data pill is still there. (Testing this broken flow, save, publish it, won't give you any related error message.)WorkaroundThis issue is under review.
