Admin users with the workspace_admin role are unable to create searchers under Contextual Search (cxs_searcher_config) Description Admin users with the workspace_admin role are unable to create searchers under Contextual Search. Contextual Search > Searchers

The issue is caused by the following Read-only protection policy: /nav_to.do?uri=sys_security_acl.do?sys_id=399b4f37374321003e7d40ed9dbe5dc8 /nav_to.do?uri=sys_security_acl.do?sys_id=b4bb8f37374321003e7d40ed9dbe5d40

Where it mentions only maint is able to create records in the cxs_searcher_config table.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Grant the workspace_admin role to an admin user 2. Access the instance with that admin user 3. Navigate to Contextual Search > Searchers The NEW button is not visible, user is unable to create a new record.

Workaround This is expected behavior and by design in all currently supported releases.
