Unable to modify a Standard Change Template: "Template to modify/retire is required" Issue Steps to Reproduce:

In the filter navigator, go to Standard Change > All Templates Select a template from the list and open it Click on the link "Modify Template" to open a Standard Change Template Proposal Add a description and a new field/value to the template, then click Save Resulting messages and errors: A Standard Change Proposal was created successfully. You can review the proposal later via Change > Standard Change > My Proposals Template to modify/retire is required. Record not found

Cause The variable "Template to modify" (https:// .service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=item_option_new.do?sys_id=afb2537b9fb002002920bde8132e7076) was not associated with the "Modify a Standard Change Template" Record Producer (https:// .service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sc_cat_item_producer.do?sys_id=32b19f3b9fb002002920bde8132e7024).

Resolution Open the variable record "Template to modify" Change the value in the 'Catalog item' field to "Modify a Standard Change Template" Save the record
