On a Reference Field, when selecting a reference value other than the number/primary value is giving an error of "Match not found, reset to original" and "Invalid update". Issue On a Reference Field, when selecting a reference value other than the number/main value is giving an error of "Match not found, reset to original" and "Invalid update".

Resolution This is an issue related to List V3 which was being used on the instance.

List V3 is no longer being supported by Development except for security-related defects and is no longer offered to new customers.

To prevent this issue in the future, we recommend using List V2.

To do so, follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to "sys_properties.LIST" 2. In the "Name" column search for "glide.ui.list_v3.enable" and go to the record 3. Change the Value field to "false" 4. Save the record
