CISCO Secondary Switches are not getting discovered where as the Primary switch is successfully discoveredIssue CISCO secondary switches are not getting discovered where as the primary switch is successfully discovered Steps to reproduce : Log in to the instanceExecute a quick discovery on a switch which has a set of secondary switches under it.Observe that the primary switch gets successfully discovered but none of the secondary switches under it are discovered.ReleaseAllResolutionVerify that the Identifiers set up for "Hardware" class in the CI Class Manager are OOB as below. Most of the situations there would be customized identifies for this "Hardware" class something like belowIn scenarios like the above, the secondary switch CIs are not updated due to the Identification Rule, which defines the IP address as one of the device's unique identification attributes.Since the secondary switches CIs have the same IP address as the primary switch, this rule causes the IRE to identify the secondary switches as duplicates of the primary, hence their CIs don't get updated.Hence setting up such identifiers should result in not discovering and updating the secondary switches. To get this working, make sure that the identifiers are set up as shipped OOB.
