Multiple Group Approvals are getting Approved even though only 1 Approval is ApprovedIssue You are seeing that multiple Group Approval Records are changing to Approved. This is happening even though the User is only Approving 1 [sysapproval_approver] Record.ReleaseAllCauseThis is happening because the User is a member of multiple groups. Therefore their approval is counting for all the groups which they are part of.ResolutionThis is the expected system behaviour in this scenario. The behaviour works in the following way, when there is a User who is in Multiple Approval Groups that are used in the approval of a record: There is only one [sysapproval_approver] Record generated for that User Even if they are in 2 Groups that are part of the approval. It will not generate 2 Approval Records. It will only generate the approval for one of these groups. At this point, when the User approves the 1 Approval Record. It will count as approval for all Groups which they are part of. Example: System Admin User is part of Group A. But they are also part of Group B.An approval process is set up on Incidents where both Group A and Group B must approve the record.During approval. Only one Approval Record is created for System Admin (This could be for either Group A or Group B. But not for both)If System Admin approves that record. Then it counts as approval for both Group A and Group B.
