Delinea Credential Resolver Plugin not resolving credentials Issue The ServiceNow Platform is not able to access credentials using the Delinea (Thycotic) Credential Resolver Plugin.

Facts ServiceNow External Credential Storage Plugin : This plugin is required for ServiceNow to utilize any third party plugins to resolve credentials. Ensure this plugin is installed and configured in your ServiceNow instance.

Delinea Credential Resolver Plugin : Developed by Delinea, this plugin utilizes the ServiceNow External Credential Storage plugin to support Delinea's credential store. This plugin can be installed from the ServiceNow Store.

Release Any

Cause While the ServiceNow platform offers Out Of The Box (OOTB) integrations to resolve credentials for some applications like CyberArk, there is currently not an OOTB integration for Delinea's Credential Resolver. However, Delinea does make available a 'Delinea Credential Resolver plugin' as a ServiceNow store app that can utilize the ServiceNow External Credential Storage Plugin.

Resolution

As this is a third party integration any configuration issues outside of ServiceNow's External Credential Storage Plugin will need to be addressed by the third parties support team. Please refer to the 'Delinea Credential Resolver' Store App documentation provided by Delinea or contact their support team for further assistance with their integration.
