Note: "Editing" refers to ADDING or EDITING existing categories from the picker tool. 'knowledge' role users and higher, will still have the ability to select existing Categories for new Knowledge Articles, even if 'Disable category editing' is checked true.

This also applies for 'knowledge' users only. Knowledge Managers or Admins will be able to edit or add, regardless of if 'Disable category editing' is checked

If selected, only knowledge managers can add or edit knowledge categories for the knowledge base - and the option will be removed for the other users.

To disable category editing on the knowledge base: 1. Navigate to kb_knowledge_base 2. Select the knowledge base to restrict 3. Click the 'Disable Category Editing' checkbox
