Release Tasks have wrong Parent after saving/submtting - Support and Troubleshooting

Release Tasks have wrong Parent after saving/submtting Issue When a Release Task is created from a Release, the Parent field is originally set to the RLSE record, which is correct, but after saving or submitting the Release Task, the Parent value changes to match the Release Task number.

Steps to reproduce: Open an existing Release record Scroll down to the related lists and go to the Release Tasks tab Click on the New button Check the Parent field, it should contain the Release number (e.g. RLSE0011831) Fill in the mandatory fields and Save/submit the Release Task Check the Release Task that has been created The Parent should be the Release number (e.g. RLSE0011831), however, Notice it has changed to the Release Task's number (e.g. RTSK0021035)

Cause Due to missing "rm_task" from "planned_task_recalculation_exclusions" table

Resolution To fix the problem, import the "rm task" Out of the Box record into the "planned task recalculation exclusions" database
