Project Budget distribution and the 'Budget cost' Roll upSummary- Budget is distributed for the fiscal months in cost plan breakdowns of type 'Task'. - Budget is split proportionate to Functional cost. - Budget will not update when there is any change to the Functional cost update, it will get updated only upon the update of the project budget record. - If there are no cost plans defined for the project and when we define the project budget, it splits the amount equally across the Fiscal period. Sometimes we see situations where the budget is not distributing even though the Project budget record is updated. Reasons could be as below: When creating the cost plans for a Fiscal year, if the sum of the planned cost of the fiscal period is <0(negative functional cost)for the fiscal year, then the budget will not be distributed.When creating the cost plans for a Fiscal year with positive planned cost and then upon defining the project budget it will distribute it in proportion with the functional cost. But, later when we update the planned cost of the fiscal year, in such a way that the sum of the planned cost of the fiscal period is <0, and then if we update the budget, there won't be any change to the already distributed budget.
