Virtual Agent : Topic search does not return the results after upgrade, if the search term contains multiple keywordsDescriptionAfter upgrading to Orlando Patch 9, VA (Virtual Agent) Topic search does not return the results in VA chat, if the search term contains multiple keywords. Steps to reproduce: Login to the OP9 instance 1. Open VA chat from the Service portal 2. Enter search term: "I want to order something" 3. Notice that it does not show/display any topic and displays the message: "I am sorry, but I did not understand your request. Please try entering your request in a different way." (or) "No items were found matching the given name or description.Do you want to search again" Now enter the keyword: "Order" and it returns the topic: "Submit a Request" Follow the above 3 steps in previous releases of OP9 and it does return the topic: "Submit a Request" without any issue. Symptoms: - Issue can be reproducible with Text search on sys_cs_topic, it does not return any results. - No issue with the text_index events, text_events are generated and get Processed. Cause- Instances with previous versions of OP9, used to have one Text Index (ts_index_name) record for sys_metadata table, as the sys_cs_topic is extended from sys_metadata- From OP9, a seperate Text Index (ts_index_name) record for the table: sys_cs_topic is introduced for better performance.- The value for the "Default Query mode" on this record (table: sys_cs_topic), is set to "Default"Resolution- Updating the value for "Default Query Mode" to "AND_OR" on the Text Index for sys_cs_topic table, should resolve the issue. Please refer to the following Service now documentation for updating the "Default Query" mode for a Text Index record: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/newyork-platform-administration/page/administer/search-administration/task/configure-table-query-mode.html
