iOS apps (non-classic) availability to ChinaBackground: ServiceNow does not currently distribute its technology directly (including mobile ) in China. We do not have a legal presence in China. Thus, ServiceNow must conduct all sales and customer support activities in accordance with the current regulatory framework. Recent changes: In the past, our new mobile apps were not enabled on Apple App Store for China but as of Nov 12, 2020, ServiceNow made the apps available. Restrictions will be the enforced by each app stores and each customer is responsible for complying with local laws (and its contractual terms with ServiceNow) in accessing and using the ServiceNow subscription service throughout the world. ServiceNow’s obligations to a customer are provided for under the terms of the relevant contracts. Impact on Support: ServiceNow provides two methods of distribution listed below. We are not able to provide consultation and/or guidance on how customers may work around ServiceNow's established technology distribution practices: GA apps are made available in the Public Appstore, the ultimate access and distribution of those vehicles is managed and governed by Google and Apple. Our mobile team does publish our apps into Google Play, and Apple AppStore. Access and downloads from that site are managed by the Appstore providers. This is why you may see the iOS app listed and available in the AppStore, whereas Google Play is not accessible in China.Custom builds are accessed and managed through Mobile Publishing service. Mobile Publishing requires additional licensing, and distribution can be more complex. ServiceNow only supports distribution of custom apps through Google Play Store and Apple App Store. We can't advise or test any other methods of working with public app stores. Note: ServiceNow does not support Huawei as an operating system or Store for mobile, both for our GA apps and for our Publishing public distribution process.
