Discovery not creating relationship between storage mount point of a compute and Storage objects. Description Customer trying to discover the Storage clusters, as per the documentation discovery has to create relationship between storage mount point of a compute and Storage objects but now this mapping is missing.

As per the CI relationships defines for the Storage Device there is no direct connection found for the NAS drive. As per the documentation discovery has to create relationship between storage mount point of a compute and Storage objects but the mapping is missing. However, in server side the Storage cluster is mounted with this Storage device.Need to understand if this is feasible OOTB.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Check the Storage Controller CI and its dependency view. You can try execute Discovery for the same.

2. Check the NAS drive share and try to see 'Allocated from::Allocated to' relationships in the cmdb_rel_ci table. Below reference link you can check.

3. See if you can see any successfully created relationship between "NAS File System" and "Storage File Share".
