Then add the user as a delegated developer on the application record. Navigate to All > System Applications > My Company Applications.Select the name of the custom application.Confirm that the application administration option is enabled on the application record. If it is not enabled, enable it now.Assign the application admin role — for example, my_application.admin — to the delegated developer user.On the same application record, select Manage Developers under related links. In the Developer Permissions window, select the type of developer, enter the user or group name, and select the specific developer permissions — such as develop, publish, or deploy — required for that application. Once saved, the user will have access to the application in the Application Picker. Note that delegated development is only supported for private scoped applications. It is not available for globally scoped applications. If application administration is enabled on the instance, only an application administrator of the target application — not a general system administrator — can delegate developers to that application.
