AI Search Provisioning and AvailabilityFollow the steps below for information on how to enable AI Search and ensure the proper hardware is provisioned. AI Search introduces an architecture change and requires provisioning new hardware for customers hosted in ServiceNow data centers. Requesting AI Search provisioning Tokyo or later For new instances provisioned in the Tokyo release or later, all customer instances will have AI Search automatically provisioned for use. If AI Search does not become available for your instance within 1 business day, please open a case or contact customer support.Note: PDI is not supported Quebec Patch 5+, Rome, and San Diego For Quebec Patch 5+, Rome, or San Diego, follow these steps to self-request provisioning of AI Search for your instance: Navigate to AI Search > AI Search Status.Verify that the status indicator reports AI Search is not enabled. Note: If the status indicator reports AI Search is requested, AI Search is enabled, or AI Search is ready, you do not need to request provisioning. Click Request AI Search. A Successfully requested AI Search message appears, and the status indicator reports AI Search is requested.Check back to the AI Search Status page regularly and once provisioning is complete, it will say AI Search is ready. NOTE: After requesting provisioning, in most cases, the provisioning process will be complete in a few hours. In some cases, provisioning may take longer. If AI Search does not become available for your instance within 1 business day, please open a case or contact customer support. Special Notes for Quebec Patch 4 or earlier For Quebec Patch 4 or earlier, request AI Search provisioning for your instance by performing the following: Sign in to the Now Support portal and create a service request case requesting provisioning of AI Search for your instance. Check back to the AI Search Status page regularly and once provisioning is complete, it will say AI Search is enabled.
