As MFA permits users to tick the "Do not challenge..." checkbox when passing MFA, so that they are not prompted to do so for a further 8 hours on the same browser. It is this that is failing to work correctly sometimes, as the local users are prompted almost every time for MFA even when it is within the 8 hour. The browser cookie gets removed, the fingerprint record remains. This behaviour is noticed across all browsers. Upon each fingerprint mismatch, the glide_mfa_remembered_browser cookie gets refreshed with a new value corresponding to the new fingerprint. Please note that, Remember MFA feature works on the same browser and same display screen. So, if you are using an extended display (let's say Monitor) and remembering the browser on the monitor, it will remember the monitor screen and that browser.after session time out, if you log in via the monitor on the same browser, it will not prompt for MFA within 8 hours.However, if the user tries to log in on the Laptop and same browser, s/he will be prompted for MFA even within the 8 hours, as the fingerprint of browser + Monitor screen is different then browser + laptop Screen.
