Immediately run a Scheduled JobSummaryYou may have seen some Scheduled Jobs that are set to run once every few hours or maybe once every week, but you are looking to have them run right now. InstructionsGo to and click into your Scheduled Job. Change the "Next action" field date to a date in the past. If today's date is 2020-11-25, then anything before this date is fine. E.x 2020-11-01 or 2000-11-25.Change the "Trigger type" to "Run Once", or to anything that will allow the Scheduled Job to run.Save the record, and it will automatically run shortly after. 1. Go to and click into your Scheduled Job. For this example, I'm going to the "Upgrade" job in Orlando. This Scheduled Job will no longer work in Paris, but the same idea works behind all Scheduled Jobs. 2. Change the "Next action" field date to a date in the past. We want to have this Scheduled Job run, we will have to change the Next action date/time to a date/time that has already passed. The instance checks to see which jobs need to run based on the Next action and Trigger type, so if we set the date/time in Next action to an older date, it will be at the top of the list for the scheduler to run. If today's date is 2020-11-25, then anything before this date is fine. E.x 2020-11-01 or 2000-11-25. 3. Change the "Trigger type" to "Run Once", or to anything that will allow the Scheduled Job to run. Just changing the Next action won't do anything if the Trigger type is "-- None --" or "On Demand" is selected. Most of the other Trigger types will allow you to run the Scheduled Job so long as the Next action has been changed already. E.x If today's date is 2020-11-25 and we set the new date to 2000-11-25, this will not run if the Trigger type is "-- None --" or "On Demand" is selected. If you change the Trigger type to "Daily", "Interval" or "Run Once", the scheduler will see that the Next action has already passed, so it will run it right away. 4. Click Save or Update. You can click Update or right click the gray header bar and click Save. By doing so, you will save the new Trigger type and Next action values to the Scheduled Job. This will allow the scheduler to see this new time and will execute the Scheduled Job.
