The scheduler determines which jobs to run based on the Next action date and Trigger type. Setting Next action to a past date places the job at the top of the scheduler queue.Change the Trigger type to Run Once, Daily, or Interval — any trigger type that actively schedules the job. Note: If Trigger type is set to -- None -- or On Demand, the job does not run regardless of the Next action date.Save the record. The scheduler detects the past Next action date and runs the job shortly after saving. Warning: If you select Run Once as the trigger type, the scheduled job is deleted after it runs and cannot be restored. If you need the job to continue running on its original schedule, change the Trigger type back to its original value and update the Next action date to a future date after the job completes.
