This can manifest only on certain affected nodes.Steps to Reproduce 1.Create a catalog item that has a variable and a catalog client script.2.Set the UI Type to Desktop.3.Open the item in Portal. The Client Script wont run.4.Install the Virtual Agent Plugins ( com.glide.cs.chatbot, com.snc.itsm.virtualagent).5. Set the Topic Submit a Request to true.6.Try the same item in VA.7. As Expected the item is VA Supported since client scripts are configured for Desktop.8.Clear the Cache. (or) create another catalog item that has a variable and a catalog client script with the same configuration above.9.Open the above item in Portal. Expected: Catalog Client Scripts should not run.Actual: Catalog Client Scripts are running. WorkaroundThis problem has been fixed in Paris release onwards.
